We believe every person deserves the opportunity to build-capacity, move, create, and connect in a way that feels safe, supportive, and joyful. Our support is designed to meet people exactly where they are – whether you are neurodiverse, living with a disability, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, new to movement, or returning after time away, you are welcome here.
We believe all genders, all bodies and all ages deserve the opportunity to move, create, and connect in a supportive environment.
At DanceAble, it’s not about competition – it’s about participation, self-expression, and capacity building.
We excited to share that we have partnered with The Connection Boutique to bring to you our therapeutic movement program DanceAble Connections. This program uses movement as a therapeutic tool to build confidence, skills, and independence. We create spaces where differences are celebrated, goals are supported, and every individual has the chance to thrive.
Our therapy thinks outside the box of traditional approaches! This community-based therapy model uses structured movement, rhythm, and creative expression to build skills in communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, physical confidence, and daily living. Sessions are safe, supportive, and engaging, helping participants connect with others through gestures, visuals, and conversation while learning calming strategies such as breathing, rhythm, and guided movement.
Social skills are fostered through turn-taking, cooperation, and group interaction, while thinking and task skills develop through following instructions, problem-solving, and sustaining attention. Physical confidence grows as participants try new skills, build stamina, and strengthen body awareness. Daily living skills are reinforced through predictable routines that encourage independence, self-expression, and pride in achievement.
Each session is goal-focused, with case note documentation and therapy oversight to ensure NDIS compliance, consistent progress tracking, and real-world results.
Services are charged under the NDIS Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living category, with oversight from Early Childhood Professionals and Occupational Therapists.
